I Don’t Care About Market Prices Anymore

January 2022

In 2017 I used to check ETH price 10 times a day. In 2020 I was still watching it every morning before coffee. This year I don’t even look.

My focus has shifted. I care more about what I’m building than what I’m holding. Market goes up or down doesn’t change the bugs I need to fix.

There’s a weird peace in not caring. You write better code. You take your time. You don’t rush to deploy because “gas is low” or “people are buying again”.

Of course I still hold ETH. It’s my main asset and probably always will be. But I’m not refreshing charts anymore. I’m refreshing GitHub.

Let traders trade. I’ll build. Feels healthier this way.
